Michael O. Varhola
Michael O. Varhola a freelance writer who founded and runs game company Skirmisher Publishing LLC with which he has published more than 100 books, games, and other publications, including the d-Infinity multi-platform game magazine. He has been enjoying video games since discovering Tank in an arcade on an overseas military base back in the 1970s and has played everything from Doom to Plants vs. Zombies since then. Varhola has authored or co-authored 10 non-fiction books on a wide variety of subjects, has written for innumerable publications, including Dragon magazine and the New York Times, and is an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He also has an active online presence, notably through his TravelBlogue, Facebook, Texas Confidential Online, and a variety of other blogs, forums, and sites.
