Know How: To Build an Igloo

Sure, you could probably tunnel into a snowbank with your kids, but don't you want to be the king of the neighborhood this winter? Put it in the backyard to play around. Or, if you're really bold, put it in the front yard and then put out a basket to gather the neighbors' collective envy. Either way, the igloo may be the greatest winter project for snow-bound families. It's free. It's awesome. And it's one of those things the kids will remember when they are older and reminiscing about how they had the greatest dad of all time.
