Weekly Buzz: Keurig Starbucks K-Cups

You can already brew Starbucks coffee at home, no surprise there—but did you know that you can now brew Starbucks with your Keurig coffee maker? That's right, Starbucks K-cups are finally available, and may be the single reason why I put the Keurig Coffee maker at the top of my Christmas list this year.
I have friends and family who own the "one-shot wonder" of coffee makers. I've heard the raving reviews and how it "changes lives" one cup of coffee at a time, but could it really be that great? Can it mimic the coffee shop experience I crave on a weekly basis?
Well, sorry to burst anyone's coffee bubble but no, I don't think it will dramatically change my life, but I do think it can make me a little more efficient and will save me some money. I waste at least three cups of coffee a day. I can never measure the right amount in my standard 12-cup coffee maker, and this one-cup system would put an end to my wasteful ways.
Beyond the efficiency of brewing one cup at a time, making it brew Starbucks is it for me. It's not that I enjoy waiting in line, being tempted by calorie-infused pastries and paying $3 for a cup of coffee when I go to Starbucks. It's purely the coffee that brings me in. The taste, the aroma and the fact that it's being made just for me is why I continue to go back week after week. Sure these K-cups may not be poured in the cardboard red cups that I love so much, but getting a perfect cup of coffee at home is exactly what I've been looking for.
