App of the Week: Field & Stream Online

I used to read the issues of "Field & Stream" my uncles kept in the bathroom of their shop in Iowa. Well, "Field & Stream" and a few other magazines. The point is that I've been reading about the outdoors, hunting, fishing and conservation from the most trusted writers, editors and experts in the industry for a very long time.
I used to subscribe to the magazine, but for some reason I didn't renew a few years back—the reason escapes me—and a month or two ago I was feeling a little nostalgic and went looking for F&S on my iPhone. What I discovered was a handy little app that let me read some magazine content plus the full raft of bloggers available on the website all wrapped up in a nice mobile-optimized package.
You can choose your content by subject and format, including blogs, slideshows and videos. It's the same Zumobi platform that news magazine "The Week" uses for its app. Intuitive, easy to use. It's a great way to kill some time while waiting for a flight or stuck somewhere you can only dream about being outside, doing the things you love. Available on iPhone and Android.
