Road Rippers RC Review
September 10, 2010, By Brian Bowen 0 comments
Remember the radio controlled toy cars you played with as a kid? Well, they’re back and better, if you can imagine that. Toy State released the new Road Rippers R/C Toy Cars, and they are perfect for your kids to race all over the house.
For the younger racers, they created the Mini Collection great for children ages 3 and up. These collectable toy cars, motorcycles and trucks are motorized and include fun tunes and lights to explore. These can make great gifts and will only cost you around $10.
For the more advanced racer, check out “Motor Muscles” - replicas of classic 1960’s and 1970’s muscle cars. These are great for children ages 7 and up and cost $35. You may not have the 1967 classic Chevy muscle car in the garage, but you can at least have it in the toy box. The controller is easy to use and your kids will love how it can race forward and reverse.
Sure, you’re not a kid anymore, but that doesn’t mean you can’t relive your childhood and race these alongside your children.
For more information, go to Toy State or you can purchase Road Rippers at Wal-Mart, Target, Toys ‘R’ Us, Kmart and stores nationwide.
Transcript: [Craig] Hi I’m Craig Heimbuch, we’re here at the M3 Conference in Atlanta. We’re about to take a test drive with the Road Ripper RC Car by Toy State. What I like about this car already, I’ve been playing with it for a while on the convention floor. Super simple controls. Any three-year-old can do it. Forward, backward, left, right, that’s all you need. You can supe it up a little bit, (honk honk). Blow the horn, uh these are just fun. The RC cars of my youth were complicated, broke down, these are really simple, relatively indestructible. I’ve run it in to a lot of different things so far. Uh Angela, what do these retail for and where ca you find them? They’re thirty-five bucks, it’s a great toy. It fills the void on those rainy days, you can run it around the kitchen, maybe the basement, take it out on the street. And it just looks really cool, so once you get going the headlights light up. I’m trying to keep the sound away. Got little engine lights, it’s just awesome. We’re going to take it for a little spin; hopefully we’ll have some fun. That’s the advantage of coming to a show like this; you get to play with all kinds of toys. So, here we go.
