CES 2011: Best New Gear of the Year - Best Television

3-D cameras, computers, video games, video cameras and yes, televisions were everywhere at CES. And although I already voiced my rather extreme indifference (or you could say "dislike") for 3-D in my other post about CES 2011 on Man of the House, I did see one television that made me hope that my current set lasts long enough to be able to afford this one in a few years.
The Samsung 8000 Series LED television is really unbelievable. Insanely clear picture, absurdly thin and a half-inch bezel make it probably the best TV I've ever seen. I can't really say enough about how beautiful this thing looked. And yes, it will also playback 3-D content as well. Meh.
