Best Video Games 2010: Mystery & Cinematic

Holiday shopping for the gamer in your life? Well, you're in luck, as this has been an awesome year to be an adult gamer. No matter what genre of games you're into, this year had several huge releases. Here are my picks for the best games of 2010.
Best Mystery Game / Movie-Like Experience
Heavy Rain (PS3) – This game is one of the most rewarding gaming experiences I've had this year. Heavy Rain marries the storytelling and visuals of a movie thriller with the creative use of the PS3 controller scheme, to create what is a surprisingly immersive game.
Heavy Rain begins with you playing as Ethan Mars, whose son has just been kidnapped by The Origami Killer, a mysterious madman who abducts children and forces their fathers to go through a series of trials in order to save their kids before the children drown in a flooded drainage ditch.
You also play as three other people, each attempting to solve the case and get closer to the elusive truth.
Heavy Rain packs an emotional punch and, perhaps unlike any game prior, everything you do matters. For example, characters can die and the game's events will continue to play on without them. This unique blend of game and cinema is something you MUST experience for yourself!
