Best Video Games 2010: Space RPG

Holiday shopping for the gamer in your life? Well, you're in luck, as this has been an awesome year to be an adult gamer. No matter what genre of games you're into, this year had several huge releases. Here are my picks for the best games of 2010.
Best Space RPG
Mass Effect 2 (Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and coming to PS3 in January) – Mass Effect was considered one of the best space RPG third-person shooters ever. So what does game developer Bioware do for a followup? Make an even better game. Heralded as one of the best games of the year, Mass Effect 2 has it all – awesome storytelling, memorable characters, action, and best of all, if you played Mass Effect and kept your save files, the choices you made in that came will play out in the sequel. The conversation system is intuitive and deep and the Non Playing Character AI is good, making this a must-own title. Note: If you're a fan of ME2, but also enjoy fantasy games, check out Bioware's 2009 Dragon Age: Origins, also a stellar title, which is due for sequel treatment in spring 2011.
