Pete and Marty have a very definitive look about them, kind of a “Miami Ink” look, minus the tattoos (at least from their headshots). The look and feel of their site leads you to believe these two guys like to get dirty—be it building something with an arsenal of tools, working on a car or playing with their kids. And would you believe it—that’s exactly what they do. Two very devoted fathers who talk about the things that interest them. Dadand.com is about more than being a dad, but dad and cars, motorcycles, tools, do-it-yourself projects, food, music, technology and parenting. Who knew that dads were this evolved?

A favorite post of mine goes back to April on "Your Headlights Suck…Or How to Polish Headlights." Being a car guy myself—but not to the extent of Marty—I truly enjoy a clean, good-looking automobile. A big stress reliever for me is washing and waxing our cars. And I’ve found myself being frustrated that I could never get that clean, polished look on our headlights. So a big thanks to Marty for putting together such a thorough guide.

But more than that, you should be reading Dadand.com for the compelling articles they write about parenting as well. Teaching their kids about everything from the death of a pet to the funny topics about child embarrassment (being intentionally goofy with your children and capturing it on video tape)—makes Pete and Marty a regular read.
