Transcript: [Tom] Your kitchen has an untold number of small appliances, from your basic toaster, microwave and coffeemaker to the blender, ricemaker, waffle iron, fajita maker, sandwich press, coffee grinder, gadgets, and maybe a George Foreman grill or two.
Here are some quick tips for cleaning and taking care of them.
To clean the microwave interior, just boil a cup of water and ammonia inside. It’ll condense, then you can wipe down the inside fast with a damp sponge. This loosens food spatters too.
You can run your blender through the dishwasher or fill half with warm water and a drop of dishwashing liquid, start it, and you cleaned it!
