Know How: Build an Outdoor Trash Enclosure

There's nothing worse than walking outside to discover that a little critter enjoyed your remnants of last night's dinner as much as you did. The evidence is all over the yard. Food scraps, wrappers and anything else you had in the trash is now decorating your backyard, and you have to take your valuable time picking up someone else's dinner. Oh, the outrage. But of course, this could have been prevented.
That's right, if you had a trash can enclosure, that little rodent you now despise would never have reached the trash cans in the first place. Before you head out to your local big box store to buy a bulky plastic box, consider making one. It may take some time, but this way you will have a chance to make it exactly how you want it. Now, I'm no Mr. Fix It, but I found someone's website who can definitely point you in the right direction. If you are interested in making your own trash enclosure, check out this video. Ron Hazelton knows home improvement, and he will be solving your problem in no time.
