Kid's love night-lights—at times they might even demand them. Whether it be for protection, for fun or to help your child find their way to the bathroom in the dark, the night-light is an essential part of a child's bedroom. They're important, but let's face it—the variety you find at stores limits you to a few glowing stars and an orange sun.
There's nothing wrong with the solar system, but wouldn't it be nice to design your own night-light? Whether it would be your child's favorite animal or your child's favorite sport, putting together your own night-light is a great project to bring light to your child's room.
