Top 5 Movies to Watch this Father's Day

What's that? You really want to have a good cry on Father's Day with your dad? Who doesn't? Well, let me help you.

I've compiled a list of my favorite movies for a good cry with dad. These aren't in any order other than the level of total emotional tyranny I felt after watching them. I mean, I never cry, so this is more for you than me, but I digress.

Rick K. Hard to find, but Our Vines Have Tender Grapes from around 1946 (starring Edward G. Robinson as a Norwegian Farmer, Agnes Moorehead as his wife, and Margaret O'Brien as the daughter) gets me every time. Good story about a good father and good pre-teen daughter on the homefront during WWII. Dalton Trumbo (who was later blacklisted) wrote the screenplay. - 06/20/2011
Charlie C. @Lyndon, Never seen it. But you've piqued my interests. @Paul, DEFINITELY. Lost my marbles on that one. Great catch (pun intended). - 06/18/2011
Paul D. Big Fish should definitely be one to watch on Father's Day. - 06/17/2011
Lyndon D. "The Champ" with Ricky Schroeder. My dad and I watched it and we were both choked up at the end. - 06/16/2011
