Know How: To Tie a Bow Tie

I never understood how bow ties worked. I tried and tried, but in the end I went to prom with a pre-tied one from the tux shop. I avoided the issue for my wedding by wearing a long tie. And I had done a pretty good job of forgetting they existed for a long time until I was given a bow tie as a gift a year ago. I went searching, scouring really, for the simplest instruction I could find. And, after about 35 videos and articles, I came across this one from a habedasher in South Carolina. It's short, to the point and easy to remember. It took two, three tries max to master it, and now I wear a bow tie fairly regularly. You can do it, buddy. Trust me.
