World's Greatest TV Dad

The Final Showdown. Right in time for Father's Day, we'll declare our winner at the end of the week. Many great TV dads have been eliminated and only two remain: Richard Castle ("Castle") and Red Forman ("That 70s Show"). Castle brings a blend of glamor and traditional dad woes to the table while Forman, a seventh seed who few tapped for such success in the tourney, offers a gruff old-school approach. Hard to imagine two such different contestants, but they have risen above the competition and obviously have a large legion of fans. Given the votes they've both amassed throughout the tournament, this final matchup is too close to call. It's up to you decide.
Welcome to ManoftheHouse.com's World's Greatest TV Dad bracket challenge. It works like those other bracket contests you've heard of, but unlike the NCAA, you have the power. Scout the match-ups, read the bios and vote for the winner. Check back every week for the next round of match-ups all leading to June 17, when we unveil to the expecting world our champion, your World's Greatest TV Dad.
The Rules
There aren't many. Vote as many times as you'd like, as often as you wish. Each new round of voting begins at Monday morning and ends Sunday night. Share your favorites with your friends, get them on your side and get them to vote, then debate with other voters in the comments below. Tell us what you think makes dad great today - the attributes you believe make a good father and how the role has changed over the last 50 years.
